| This is one of my favorites, taken, I believe, just prior to 1865. On the back is written: "left Aunt Hoffman, right Grandma Mrs. Geo. Henze." If you recognize either of these ladies, please notify me. They are a part of my family and, perhaps, yours too. And I would like to know their given names. Caroline Henze was the wife of George Henze (son of George & Dorothea (Roettger) Henze) and the daughter of Frederick August & Ernestine (Orfhal) Nicolai.
