William SHELL, yard foreman for Buckstaff Brothers, [Oshkosh, Winnebago 
County, Wisconsin], was born 01 April 1849 in Fond du Lac [Fond du Lac 
County], Wisconsin. He was engaged in the city of Fond du Lac as foreman of 
lumber yards for a number of years. In 1880 he came to Oshkosh and engaged 
with Buckstaff Brothers [lumber company].

On 26 March 1872 in Fond du Lac [Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin], he [William 
SHELL] was married to Miss Ida WEYMER. They [William and Ida (WEYMER) SHELL] 
have one child. Mr. SHELL is a member of the Temple of Honor.
