WI BIO - Winnebago Co - SCOTT, W. H. History of Northern Wisconsin. Chicago: Western Historical, 1881, v II, p 1192 W. H. SCOTT, farmer and stock raiser, Town of Vinland [in Winnebago County, Wisconsin; north of Oshkosh], P. O. Neenah [north of Vinland Township on Lake Winnebago], was born 16 May 1816 in New Hampshire. At the age of twenty he went to Livingston County, New York, where he followed lumbering and milling interests until 1846, when he came to Wisconsin and settled upon his present place, where he had an active pioneer experience of thirty-five years. In 1841 he [W. H. SCOTT] was married to Miss Mary ENOS, who was born in Madison County, New York. They [W. H. and Mary (ENOS) SCOTT] have a family to two sons and two daughters, all grown to man's and woman's estate. Submitted by Cathy Kubly
