George B. DROWN, hotel keeper, Sharon [Windsor County, Vermont], was born 12 
July 1861 at Sharon [Windsor County, Vermont], son of Charles I. and Diana C. 
(PORTER) DROWN. Educated in the public schools. Has been engaged in the 
hotel and livery business since 1910. Republican; selectman 1880-1883; road 
commissioner 1900-1905; lister and overseer of the poor several years; 
justice of the peace for the past ten years; chairman of the Republican town 
committee several years; represented Sharon in the Legislature 1910; member 
of committee on highways and bridges. Congregationalist. Member Sharon 
Lodge No. 105, Free & Accepted Masons, and Sharon Grange. In 1883 he [George 
B. DROWN] married [Miss?] Minnie A. HOWE of Sharon [Windsor County, Vermont]; 
they have one son, Mark G.
