H. and Emily (SMITH) CHAPMAN. He attended the district school at South Hill, and the Black River Academy. He then secured a position in Channing's private hospital in Boston [Suffolk County], Massachusetts, earning money to take his medical course at Dartmouth College, from which he graduated in 1895. Since graduation, Dr. CHAPMAN has practiced continuously in Springfield [Windsor County, Vermont], making a specialty of anesthetics; also eye, ear, nose and throat. Republican. Member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
