BILLINGS, Sharon, real estate broker, was born 18 June 1881 in Sharon [Windsor County, Vermont], son of Olin Leslie and Jessie F. (SARGENT) BILLINGS. Educated at Tilton Seminary, Tilton [Belknap County], New Hampshire, and Bryant and Stratton Business College, Boston, Massachusetts. He was reared on a farm; at the age of sixteen farmed for Rev. G. CHAMBERLAIN for one year; from seventeen to twenty-one fired for the Amoskeag Company of Manchester [Hillsborough County], New Hampshire. Entered training school for nurses at Tewksbury [Middlesex County], Massachusetts, in 1900, and engaged in nursing for ten years. Republican. Member of the Congregational Church. Member of Sharon Lodge No. 105, Free & Accepted Masons, and Sharon Grange. In 1911 he [Fred O. BILLINGS] married Bessie Dora BUELL of South Strafford [Orange County, Vermont]. Submitted by Cathy Kubly
