Educated at Brattleboro High School, class of 1891 and its president. From 1896 to 1906 was reporter for the "Vermont Phoenix," Brattleboro; 1906-1909 Brattleboro correspondent for several Vermont and Massachusetts daily papers; since 1909 associate editor of the "Vermont Phoenix." Republican. Member of Brattleboro Board of Trade. Congregationalist; member of Center Congregational Church and clerk of the Ecclesiastical Society of the same; has been identified with Brattleboro musical affairs.
