Hermon Elmer EDDY, lawyer, Brattleboro [Windham County, Vermont], was born 13 
June 1881 at Stratton [Windham County, Vermont], son of Elmer A. and Inez T. 
(PIKE) EDDY. Educated at Brattleboro Academy, Colgate University, and the 
University of Vermont. Admitted to the Vermont bar in 1907; has practiced 
law in Brattleboro since that time. Republican; represented Stratton in the 
Vermont Legislature in 1902. Baptist. Member of Alpha Lambda Chapter of 
Kappa Sigma. In 1902 Mr. [Hermon Elmer] EDDY married [Miss?] Bernice A. 
WAITE of Wardsboro [Windham County, Vermont]; they have two daughters, Doris 
M. and Marjorie A.
