Edward Raymond CAMPBELL, physician and surgeon, Bellows Falls [Windham 
County, Vermont], was born 27 September 1853 at West Westminster [Windham 
County, Vermont], son of Dr. Daniel and Julia A. (HALL) CAMPBELL. Educated 
at Kimball Union Academy, Meriden [Sullivan County], New Hampshire; 
scientific department, Dartmouth College; studied medicine with his father; 
received M. D. from medical department, University of Vermont, 1875; was 
valedictorian; began practice at Turners Falls [Franklin County], 
Massachusetts, 1875; removed to Bellows Falls, 1877, where he was in active 
practice until 1912; was pension examining surgeon 1885-1897; is a frequent 
contributor to medical journals.

In 1876 he [Edward Raymond CAMPBELL] married [Miss?] Inez E. MORSE of 
Westminster [Windham County, Vermont]. Democrat; represented Rockingham 
[Windham County] in the Legislature 1904; member American Medical 
Association; Vermont Medical Society (president in 1888); Connecticut River 
Valley Medical Association (treasurer since 1879); Vermont State Tuberculosis 
Commission 1904-1906; and Westminster Club.
