(TAYLOR) BRACKETT. Educated in public schools of Brattleboro; was a clerk in a store from 1882 to 1884; bookkeeper and secretary of the Valley Mill Company from 1884 to 1886; on 01 Apr 1886 became bookkeeper of the Peoples National Bank; promoted to assistant cashier in 1889; cashier in 1893; rose to vice president and cashier in 1910, which office he still holds. Republican. Universalist. Member of Brattleboro Lodge No. 102, Free & Accepted Masons, having served as junior warden and senior warden; is a member of, and has been president of, the Vermont Wheel Club.
