CAST & CREW BIOS

~~~~~~~~
Phillip Davis  makes his debut with NM Productions with this exciting production. Previous rolls have included Curly in Oklahoma at Irving Community Theatre, Charlie in The Foreigner at Rockwall Community Theatre, and a business executive in the movie Universal Soldier--The Return. He is proud to be a part of this exceptional ensemble cast and crew. Phillip thanks his family and Mike for their continued love and support.
Kristina Denapolis (Light Design)  is a junior Theatre/TV major at TCU. Originally from New Orleans, she is excited to be working with NMP and thanks everyone who has guided her (especially Michael & Damon) in her first lighting gig. Break a leg, everyone!
Kelli Hagen  is pleased to make her debut with NMP in Titanic Aftermath. After accepting her first role on a whim a few years ago, her "hobby" in community theatre has quickly become a "habit." Previous work includes Jake's Women and Inherit the Wind at Irving Community Theatre and Anne of Green Gables at Mesquite Community Theatre.
Jill Hall's  previous stage experience includes West Side Story (Consuela), Fiddler on the Roof (Golda), Late One Night (Martha), The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe (Nymph), Bye Bye Birdie (Kim), Pirates of Penzance (Mabel), and various variety shows and music performances. Offstage she is a full-time mother of four, three of whom have onstage and backstage experience! Jill met her husband, Mark, when they auditioned for the same part in a skit. Betcha can't guess what character!
Mark Hall  has been doing stage, voice and film around North Texas for over 25 years. His theatre roles include Lazar Wolf in Fiddler on the Roof, Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey, Doc in West Side Story, and Professor Digory Kirk in The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Mark is married to Jill, and they are celebrating 20 years of marriage (see Jill's bio for more details!)
Svea Hunt (Costumer)  has spent many years at Creative Arts Theatre and School, first as a parent of a talented daughter, and then as costumer and performer herself. She has designed costumes for many shows, including Girls of the Garden Club and Littlest Angel at CATS and Miracle on 34th Street, Twilight of the Golds, and Bedroom Farce at Theatre Arlington.
M. Shane Hurst  has worked with NMP as vocal coach and pianist in No Opera at the Op'ry House Tonight  and as the (famous) composer of incidental songs in Winnie the Pooh. Area performances include the world premier of Joseph and Mary (Gabriel) for Lyric Stage, Sweeney Todd (Tobias) for Irving Community Theatre, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Finch) for Mesquite Community Theatre, Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour) for Theatre on the Hill, and West Side Story (Tony) for Cedar Valley College. He is currently working on a doctoral degree at UNT, teaches private voice at Poteet High School in Mesquite, and serves on the DeSoto Arts Commission.
Susan Klooster  appears for the first time onstage after helping out many times backstage while her sons Alex and Thomas enjoyed the spotlight. She's been a "backstage stooge" for NMP's There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom, Tom Sawyer, No Opera at the Op'ry House Tonight, and Winnie the Pooh (where son Alex appeared as Christopher Robin). Her other claims to fame are expert cake baker and taxi diva. Susan wants to thank her family for their love, support and sacrifices during this endeavor.
Linda Kurosky  was last seen onstage as Renfield in NMP's Dracula. Other favorite roles include Mona in Come Back to the Five & Dime, Bobbie in Last of the Red Hot Lovers, and Hillary in Tribute. Linda is also active with the Cowtown Mystery Players.
Katie Lukach  (Sound Board Operator) was born and raised in Arlington and currently attends Arlington High School. She has acted and teched for various shows and is tackling a new art by running sound. Thanks to everyone who has supported her.
Amy Meister  (Asst Director) joins NMP for her third performance as Assistant Director/Stage Manager, having worked Anne of Green Gables and Winnie the Pooh. She finds the energy to work full-time, be a wife and mother, and go to hockey games (not necessarily in that order). Amy's primary goal is to make it through this production without going into labor - her second child is due June 8th.
Dwight Murr  has been performing on local stages since 1992. Favorite roles include Emile in South Pacific and Froggy in The Foreigner. He is also a member of the Dying to Dine Players, a murder mystery dinner theatre troupe.
J.R. Peacock  is a veteran performer with credits in theater, musical comedy, opera and oratorio. Appearances on area stages include Hip Pocket Theatre, Circle Theatre, Caravan of Dreams, Casa Manana, OnStage, and the Dallas Children's Theatre.  J.R. has also performed with the Fort Worth Symphony, Fort Worth Opera, Houston Grand Opera, the Schola Cantorum of Texas, and the London Symphony, among others. Educated in philosophy, religion, linguistics, and music, he is currently a working performer, freelance editor, and freelance administrator of non-profit performing arts organizations.
Patrick Schackleford  is enjoying his first adventure with N.M. Productions. A former recipient of the Texas Junior College Speech and Theatre Association's Bill Morton Challenge in Acting Award and a American College Theatre Festival Irene Ryan nominee, Patrick remains a humble and hard-working actor.
Bobby Shue  was first seen on this stage as Moody MacPherson in NMP's Anne of Green Gables. Bobby is a working actor with Linda McAllister Talents, appearing in such television shows as MTV's Austin Stories, Boondoggle, and Commandments. He'll be performing his own one-act monologue at the Pazzo Mente Showcase with his acting teacher, Julie Erickson.
Damon Steele  (Set Design)  has been involved with live theatre and entertainment for over 20 years. His work includes directing, writing, performing, producing scenic art and special effects for live theatrical productions, videos, films, and outdoor special events in the DFW area, Chicago, Denver, Boston and upstate New York. In his spare time, Damon designs computer graphics and commercial internet sites.
Pamela Stringer  has been a writer, teacher, CPA, actor, massage therapist, dancer, and Photoshop novice - sometimes all on the same day. The co-founder of NM Productions, she has appeared in many of their productions, ranging from a furball in Sincerity Forever to an 11th century nun in Songs of Love. She has also performed at Dallas Children's Theatre, Hip Pocket Theatre, Fort Worth Theatre, Moonstruck Theatre, OnStage, Theatre Arlington, and Grand Prairie Community Theatre. Pamela performs a one-woman show about her early days as a Beatlemaniac.
Austin Von der Hoya  appears for the third time on stage with NMP. His family has also suffered through Tom Sawyer (Banjo Man) and Room Service (Gordon Miller). When he isn't playing with lines and cues, his other interests include flying, photography and videography, music, golf, cooking, working behind the scenes in support of his daughters onstage, and trying to sleep now and then. He moonlights and actually gets paid for his other full-time job as a geophysicist for Pioneer Natural Resources.
Irene Zuniga  is currently a student at Texas Christian University. She appeared as Hetty in Alice Gerstenberg's Overtones. An active member of Alpha Phi Omega, Irene bravely enjoys roller-blading. This is her debut performance with NMP.
