WILSON, pastor of First Baptist Church, Sheboygan, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, was born 10 February 1848 in Germany. He was educated in Hanover [Germany]. He came to America in 1869, and was engaged in a mercantile capacity for two years in Pennsylvania. Mr. WILSON was ordained [as a Lutheran minister] at Germantown [in Montgomery, Washington, Mahoning, Trumbull, Wyandot, or Huron County?], Ohio in 1872. He was at Crestline [Crawford County], Ohio for three years, and had charge of a German Lutheran Church. Mr. WILSON was ordained into the Baptist Church at Manchester [Washtenaw County], Michigan in 1878, and had charge of the First Baptist Church there for over a year, then officiated at Clayton [Lenawee County], Michigan up to November 1880, when he came to Wisconsin, located here [Sheboygan] and has been engaged in his present capacity since. On 25 December 1871 he [August H. P. WILSON] was married at Eaton Rapids [Eaton County], Michigan, to Alice LEWIS [a maiden name?], who was born in Michigan. They [August H.
