SCHULTZ, merchant and proprietor of saloon; born in Germany Dec. 25, 1825; came to Watertown June 15, 1846; engaged in manufacturing wagons until 1858; engaged in saloon and mercantile business ever since. Mr. S. was Supervisor of the First Ward in 1875-76. In December, 1846, he married Caroline Ehl; she was born in Germany; they have six children - Caroline, Albert, Charles, Emma, Hattie and Matilda.
