Enos C. FISH, West Rutland [Rutland County, Vermont], was born 11 September 
1836, son of Enos C. and Marcia (CHAPMAN) FISH. Educated at Ira Academy. 
Republican; represented West Rutland in the Vermont Legislature 1898; has 
been constable, deputy sheriff, and in 1905 appointed sheriff by Governor 
BELL; elected sheriff in 1906, 1908, and 1910. Congregationalist. Past 
master of Hiram Lodge No. 101, Free & Accepted Masons, of West Rutland. In 
1869 he [Enos C. FISH] married [Miss?] Frances J. FREEMAN, of West Rutland.
