Educated at West Rutland graded schools; graduated from Rutland High School 1902, and from the University of Vermont College of Medicine 1906. Has practiced medicine in Poultney since his graduation. Democrat. Member of the Roman Catholic Church. Was a member of Phi Chi fraternity, and the first president of the Catholic Club, University of Vermont; member of Ancient Order of Hibernians; county secretary of Rutland County; member of Rutland County and Vermont State Medical Societies, American Medical Association; the Grange; secretary of the Poultney Improvement Association.
