Brattleboro: Transcript Publishing Company, 1894, pp 43-44 (portrait p 43) Frederick Lucian BRIGHAM, of Pittsfield was born 07 July 1862 in [Rutland County, Vermont], son of Charles W. and Mary L. BRIGHAM. His early education was obtained in the State Normal School at Randolph [Orange County, Vermont], and the Vermont Methodist Seminary in Montpelier [Washington County, Vermont], and he graduated from the medical college at Dartmouth in 1887, receiving the diploma of M. D. He immediately settled in his native town [Pittsfield] where he has remained, enjoying a very successful practice as a regular physician. In 1892 he was appointed health officer of Pittsfield, and in the same year was elected town representative. Dr. BRIGHAM is a member of the Masonic fraternity in which he took the Blue Lodge degrees at Rochester [Windsor County, Vermont] in 1885. On 09 February 1887 he [Frederick Lucian BRIGHAM] was united in marriage to Keta L., daughter of George W. and Eldora A. DAVIS. Submitted by Cathy Kubly
