Burlington: Ullery Publishing Company, 1912, p 126-127 Albert Julius BOYNTON, hotel manager, Rutland [Rutland County, Vermont], was born 14 July 1863 in Morrisville [Lamoille County, Vermont], son of Clark Mills and Adelia Patience (HALL) BOYNTON. Educated at People's Academy, Morrisville. As a youth engaged in printing business with News and Citizen, Morrisville. When the American house and Van Ness house consolidated in 1882, came to the Van Ness house, Burlington [Chittenden County], as clerk, serving two years; clerk in Bates house, Rutland, 1884-1885; clerk at Mt. Mansfield hotel, Stowe [Lamoille County], a summer resort, one season; clerk Hotel Berwick, Rutland, 1886-1891; manager Hotel Berwick 1891-1893; manager Ellis Park Hotel, Lake Bomoseen [Rutland County], one season; manager Hotel Burlington, Burlington, one and a half years; and in 1895 returned to management of Hotel Berwick, continuing to date. In 1884 he [Albert Julius BOYNTON] married [Miss?] Flora E. FULLER of Stowe [Lamoille County, Vermont]. They have two children, Pauline Fuller and Robert Clark. Mr. BOYNTON is a Republican, and an attendant of the Congregational Church. He is a member of Rutland Lodge, No. 79, Free & Accepted Masons.; Davenport Chapter, Royal Arch Masons; Killington Commandery, Knights Templar; and Cairo Temple, Mystic Shrine.
