Pipersville; born Jan. 1, 1815, in Carmarthenshire, Wales; came to America in 1857, and located in Ixonia Township, Jefferson Co., Wis.; bought 40 acres of wild land and built a log house, which is still standing; he now owns 200 acres in this township and 160 in Monroe Township; he has deeded 120 acres to his son, from which his father is to derive a revenue during his lifetime; his present home he bought with some land in 1869. Married Miss Anna Roberts, of Wales, in July, 1836; seven children living – John, Thomas, Robert, Anne, Richard, Maria and Sarah. Mrs. R. is a member of the Methodist Church.
