Busseyville; was born in Sweden in August, 1833, and is the son of Abraham and Maria Reuterskiold; in 1843, he came to Wisconsin with his parents, who settled in Sumner Township. In 1862, he married Mrs. Emily Phelps, a native of New York; had two children, one living – Herbert John; his wife died in 1871, and he married again in January, 1873, Miss Amelia Mellberg, who was born April 9, 1848; they have three children – Francis, Jennie and Marian. Mr. Reuterskiold owns a splendid farm, comprising 150 acres, forty-five of which are under cultivation and the remainder very handsomely improved; in 1876, he was elected Town Treasurer; served one term; re-elected in 1879; he is a strong Democrat.
