Married, Nov. 12, 1845, Mrs. Rose Ann Allen, daughter of John Pierson; have five children – Ellen E., born June 28, 1852; Rosanna, Dec. 15, 1854; Mary I., Oct. 3, 1856; George E., April 26, 1859; William E., Aug. 6, 1861.
