James Clark KING, Barton [Orleans County, Vermont], real estate dealer, was 
born 21 September 1863, son of Hiram Pierce and Lydia Ann (FROST) KING. 
Educated in the public schools. Has spent the greater part of his life on 
the farm, and has had experience in lumbering and building; retired from 
farming in 1906 and moved to Barton; is president of the King & Nelson 
Company, real estate dealers. Member Orleans Lodge No. 55, Free & Accepted 
Masons, and the Grange. In 1885 [James Clark KING] married [Miss?] Emma Jane 
DAVIS, of Sheffield [Caledonia County, Vermont].
