Brattleboro: Transcript Publishing Company, 1894, pp 89-90 (portrait p 89) Henry Ralph CUTLER was born 01 December 1860 in Glover [Orleans County, Vermont], son of Henry Cordelia (SKINNER) CUTLER. In early life he attended the public schools of Glover and Barton [both in Orleans County], and afterwards was a pupil of the St. Johnsbury Academy [Caledonia County]. With this preparatory education he commenced his business life as clerk for J. W. HALL of Barton, but afterwards entered the employ of D. L. DWINELL of Glover, with whom he remained five years. Since 1883 he has represented the large clothing house of Cushing, Olmstead & Snow of Boston, Massachusetts. He is a Republican in his political profession, and was appointed a colonel on Gov. PAGE's staff. Colonel CUTTER is a member of Lodge No. 55, Free & Accepted Masons, of Barton, and of the Commercial Traveller's Union of Boston. Though liberal in his religious belief, he attends and contributes to the Congregational church at Barton. On 01 June 1889 he [Henry Ralph CUTLER] married Alice E., daughter of J. E.
