John Mason BLAKE, physician, Barton [Vermont], was born 12 February 1875 at 
Barton [Orleans County, Vermont], son of Albert B. and Emily (MASON) BLAKE. 
Educated at the Montpelier Seminary and the University of Vermont, Medical 
Department, 1898; has practiced medicine at Barton since his graduation. 
Republican. In religious preference, a Methodist. Past master of the 
Orleans Lodge No. 55, Free & Accepted Masons; member of Keystone Chapter No. 
14, Royal Arch Masons; and the Malta Commandery. Member of the Le Beau Lac 
Boat Club of Barton. Is medical examiner for Crystal Lake Camp, Modern 
Woodmen of America. In 1903 he [John Mason BLAKE] married [Miss?] Mabelle 
HULL of Fairfax [Franklin County, Vermont]; they have one daughter, Kathleen.
