Teller at Barton National Bank 1899-1904; bookkeeper at First National Bank, Bennington, [Bennington County] 1905; has been treasurer of the Central Savings Bank at Orleans since its organization in 1905. Republican; treasurer of incorporated school district since 1907. Member of the Congregational Church. Member of Valley Lodge No. 106, Free & Accepted Masons; and Keystone Chapter No. 16, Royal Arch Masons of Barton. In 1903 he [Roy A. BEAN] married [Miss?] Grace W. RICHMOND of Newport [Orleans County, Vermont]; they have one daughter, Eleanor R., and one son, Hayden Curtis.
