MITCHELL, barber and confectioner, Palmyra; born in Chautauqua Co., N.Y., May 22, 1849; he learned his business in Honesdale, Penn.; has been a railroad and a traveling man for many years; came to Palmyra in 1876, and opened his present business, where he keeps confectionery of all kinds, canned meats and fruits, and is prepared to furnish ice cream and lemonade, soda water, oysters, etc., in their season, on short notice; he is doing a good business and invites the patronage of the public.
