ZINNS, M.D., No 490 Eleventh Street, was born in 1851 at Manitowoc, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, and obtained his literary training in the public schools of the city of Manitowoc, following the profession of a teacher there and at Two Rivers [Manitowoc County, Wisconsin] for five school terms with considerable success. Returning then to his native place [returning to Manitowoc from Two Rivers], he devoted himself with much earnestness to the study of medicine in 1874, until the fall of that year, when he removed to Buffalo [Erie County], New York, for the more efficient prosecution of his studies, under Dr. S. W. WETMORE, who is now Clinical Surgery Professor in the medical college of the city of Buffalo. The young doctor [Albert J. ZINNS] graduated from the medical department of Wooster University, Cleveland [Cuyahoga County], Ohio, in 1878, and was the House Physician of Charity Hospital during the last two years devoted by him to study in the University. Removing after that time to this city [Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin], he located here [Milwaukee] in 1878, and has since that date devoted himself to professional labors here with success. The doctor having given special attention to that branch [dentistry] of the medical profession, he is a member of the State Dental Society. Submitted by Cathy Kubly
