RICHTER, vinegar, mustard and pickle factory, Manitowoc [Manitowoc County, Wisconsin], was born 18 May 1822 in Prussia. He came to Sheboygan [Sheboygan County, Wisconsin] in July 1850. In 1854 he came to Manitowoc County, and followed farming four years. He then engaged in school teaching, which he continued about ten years. He also carried on the drug business, which he sold out in 1873, and at once established this business [the vinegar, mustard, and pickle factory]. He [A. M. RICHTER] married Miss Christina RICHTER, of Prussia. They [A. M. and Christina (RICHTER) RICHTER] have three sons and four daughters. Mr. RICHTER has held the offices of City Clerk, City Treasurer, and was County Clerk from 1872 to 1874. He also represented the county on the County Board.
