Warren [Jo Daviess County], Illinois, was born on 11 November 1820 in Chenango County, New York. He went to Chatauqua County, New York, in 1852, and then to Michigan in 1867, and came to Wisconsin in the fall of 1867. He bought eighty acres of land, and now owns eighty-five, and five in timber in Wiota [Lafayette County, Wisconsin]. In 1840 T. WILCOX married Lidy NICKABARKER [a maiden name?], who was born on 14 January 1820 in Smithville [Jefferson County], New York. T. and Lidy WILCOX have four children: (1) G. H., in Warren [Jo Daviess County], Illinois; (2) William, deceased; (3) E. P., in Warren, Illinois, engaged in merchandising; and (4) C. P., in Warren, Illinois, who clerks for his brother [E. P.].
