He then went to Blanchardville [Lafayette County, Wisconsin] in 1864, and bought the mill known as the grist mill, and continued until 1877, when he sold to his brother, George SARDESON, who is now running the same. [The history of the ownership of this grist mill, built in 1845 on the site of the village of Blanchard by a Mr. HORNER with two run of stone and run by water-power, is given on page 639. The wife [Margret SARDESON] died in 1864 at Gratiot [Gratiot Township, Lafayette County, Wisconsin]. Mr. SARDESON is a Republican and a believer in religion. [The Lafayette County biography of J. Fred ANDERSON states that "C. T. SARDESON" was in partnership with Mr. LUNDA and J. Fred ANDERSON in a store in Argyle, Lafayette County. In 1865 a "James SARDISON" (with an "I") became part owner of the Argyle Mills at Argyle, Lafayette County, and from 1878 to the present time of the biography source, 1881, these mills were operated by "Sardison & Crotty." Were C. T. SARDESON and/or James SARDISON related to John SARDESON?] Submitted by Cathy Kubly
