He came to Wisconsin in 1854, bought 160 acres of land, and made the improvements; he now owns 446 acres. He has been engaged in thrashing for two years. In politics Mr. SALISBURY is a Republican, and in religion, United Brethren. In New York State M. C. SALISBURY married [Miss?] Mirah DINGSLY, who was born in 1816 in New York. They [M. C. and Mirah SALISBURY] have had six children: (1) Norman, deceased; (2) Prudence, now Mrs. Henry COLLINS; (3) Emily, now Mrs. MARCH, in Warren [Jo Daviess County], Illinois; (4) John, near home, who was in the 33rd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry in the War of the Rebellion; (5) James Wallace, at home; and (6) Jane, in Floyd County, Iowa.
