Shullsburg, was born 08 February 1830 in Logan County, Ohio. When a boy he came with his parents to Illinois. In 1840 they removed to Lafayette County [then in the Territory of Wisconsin; the State of Wisconsin created 29 May 1848], where he has since lived. In 1854 he [Abner ROCK] married Miss Fannie FIELD, who was born in New Diggings, Lafayette County, Wisconsin]. They [Abner and Fannie (FIELD) ROCK] have three children: Anna, Charles, and Eliza.
