Wisconsin became a State on 29 May 1848, and was before that part of the Territory of Wisconsin.] In 1846 he [Thomas ROBSON] married Mary A. BEWICK [a maiden name?], who was born in New Castle, England. They [Thomas and Mary A. ROBSON] have had ten children, four of whom are living: Margaret, Elizabeth, Thomas, and William.
