Thomas ROBSON, farmer, Section 34, Town of White Oak Springs, Lafayette 
County, Wisconsin, P. O. Benton [Lafayette County], was born 07 September 
1822 in Yorkshire, England. In 1848 he came to the Town of Benton [in 
Lafayette County. Wisconsin became a State on 29 May 1848, and was before 
that part of the Territory of Wisconsin.]

In 1846 he [Thomas ROBSON] married Mary A. BEWICK [a maiden name?], who was 
born in New Castle, England. They [Thomas and Mary A. ROBSON] have had ten 
children, four of whom are living: Margaret, Elizabeth, Thomas, and William. 
Mr. ROBSON owns 260 acres of land, and is engaged in farming and [lead] 
mining.
