EMIL N. BORRESON, was born in Lillehammer, Norway, emigrating 
in 1868.  After following mercantile pursuits for two years, he entered 
the Batavian Bank as book-keeper, which place he filled with great 
acceptance, both to the bank and to the public for nine years, until the 
establishment of the present business of Holley & Borreson.
