WING, cashier, banking house of Decker, Duvall & Walender [Kewaunee, Kewaunee County, Wisconsin], was born in Calumet County, Wisconsin. After finishing his common school studies he passed three years in the Lawrence University at Appleton [Outagamie County, Wisconsin], graduating from the commercial department in the spring of 1873. He then came to [the town of] Ahnappe [now called Algoma], Ahnappe Township, Kewaunee County, Wisconsin, and established the Ahnapee "Record." He edited this paper until 1877. He then removed to Kewaunee [a Lake Michigan port in Kewaunee Township] and commenced the study of law with his father. He was admitted to the Bar in the fall of 1877. He then became a partner with his father in the profession, continuing until 01 July 1881, when he was appointed to his present position. Submitted by Cathy Kubly
