Chicago: Western Historical Company, 1879, p 720 Daniel WILLIAMS, farmer, Section 27, Paris Township, Kenosha County, Wisconsin, P. O. Paris, was born 14 Feb 1824 in Wales, and came to America in 1842, locating in Southport,* now Kenosha. He engaged in farming in Paris Township, where he has been engaged since in cultivating and improving his land, of which he has 412 and a half acres. On 16 Oct 1857 in Paris Township, Kenosha County, Wisconsin, Daniel WILLIAMS married Miss Jane EDWARDS, a native of Wales. Mr. WILLIAMS has had [Daniel and Jane (EDWARDS) WILLIAMS have had ?] two children: Sarah J., born 08 October 1858, who died 23 November 1858; and (2) Annie L., born 10 October 1859. [* In 1842 when Daniel WILLIAMS came to Southport, it was located in Racine County, Territory of Wisconsin. Statehood was granted to Wisconsin on 29 May 1848.
