Daniel WILLIAMS, farmer, Section 27, Paris Township, Kenosha County, 
Wisconsin, P. O. Paris, was born 14 Feb 1824 in Wales, and came to America in 
1842, locating in Southport,* now Kenosha. He engaged in farming in Paris 
Township, where he has been engaged since in cultivating and improving his 
land, of which he has 412 and a half acres.

On 16 Oct 1857 in Paris Township, Kenosha County, Wisconsin, Daniel WILLIAMS 
married Miss Jane EDWARDS, a native of Wales. Mr. WILLIAMS has had [Daniel 
and Jane (EDWARDS) WILLIAMS have had ?] two children: Sarah J., born 08 
October 1858, who died 23 November 1858; and (2) Annie L., born 10 October 
1859. 

[* In 1842 when Daniel WILLIAMS came to Southport, it was located in Racine 
County, Territory of Wisconsin. Statehood was granted to Wisconsin on 29 May 
1848. Kenosha County was created from part of Racine County 26 January 1850, 
and on 07 February 1850 Southport became the City of Kenosha.]
