ROGERS, city of Kenosha, Kenosha County, Wisconsin, books and stationery, was born in 1827 in Tompkins County, New York. He came West and located in Illinois in 1835, and in 1866 came to Kenosha and engaged in printing. In 1867 he entered the book and stationery business in Mr. JOHNSON's store, and in 1869 he started in business as a stationery and book dealer. In 1872 Mr. ROGERS became local reporter for the Kenosha "Telegraph." In 1873 he was clerk in the Kenosha Post Office, and in 1875 re-entered the book and stationery business, and is at present engaged in the latter. Submitted by Cathy Kubly
