WILKINSON, attorney, New Lisbon [Juneau County, Wisconsin], was born in 1853 in Wibsey, Yorkshire, England. He emigrated with his parents to the United States in the spring of 1858, and came direct to Wisconsin, settling first at Ironton, Sauk County, and after about eighteen months moved to LaValle [also in Sauk County], where he received a good common school education. In 1874 he [A. C. WILKINSON] came to Mauston, Juneau County [Wisconsin], where he read law with his brother, R. A. WILKINSON, until 1877, when he came to New Lisbon, and has since carried on a general law and collection business. On 31 December 1878 he [A. C. WILKINSON] was married to Miss Agnes L. HARRIS of New Lisbon [Juneau County, Wisconsin], who was born 22 March 1861. They [A. C. and Agnes L. (HARRIS) WILKINSON] have one child, Lorraine Agnes, born 09 July 1880. Mr. WILKINSON is a Democrat, and is a member of the Ancient Free & Accepted Masons, and the Ancient Order of United Workmen. Submitted by Cathy Kubly
