John G. WIGHTMAN, Mauston [Juneau County, Wisconsin], was born in Connecticut 
on 02 March 1848, and was a resident of the state [of Connecticut] until 
sixteen years of age. [Assuming his given birthdate is correct, John G. 
WIGHTMAN would have been sixteen years of age from 02 March 1864 to 02 March 
1865.] He then came to Werner [a village in Germantown Township, Juneau 
County, Wisconsin] and worked for the firm of E. D. Wightman & Company [John 
G. subject related to E. D.?] until 1870, since which time he has been a 
partner in the firm of McQueen, Davis & Company. In the spring of 1880 John 
G. WIGHTMAN was married to Miss Nellie E. GOODRICH, then of Werner 
[Germantown Township, Juneau County, Wisconsin], but formerly of Chicago 
[Cook County, Illinois].
