Peter M. WILSON, farmer, Section 20, town of Northfield, Jackson County, 
Wisconsin, was born 20 November 1838 in Pennsylvania. He came to Wisconsin 
in 1856, and first lived in the town of Hixton, Jackson County, moving to 
Northfield in 1863, where he pre-empted a claim from the Government, on which 
he has lived ever since.

Peter M. WILSON was married in 1863 to Miss Abigail A. HUMPHREY, who was born 
in England. They [Peter M. and Abigail A. (HUMPHREY) WILSON] have two 
children, (1) Phoebe and (2) Jane B. Mr. WILSON has been Town Treasurer of 
Northfield, Jackson County, Wisconsin, for eight years.
