HITCHCOCK, hotel proprietor, Lake Mills; born in Burlington, Hartford Co., Conn., Oct. 1, 1812; came to Wisconsin in 1849; went to farming in Lake Mills Township. In 1868 purchased an interest in the agricultural manufactory at the village of Lake Mills. In 1873, began keeping the Lake Side Hotel at that place. He has held various local offices.
