Jefferson; is son of Elam Henry, and came to Jefferson in 1842, and took up land from the Government; bought farm, on which he has now resided since 1855; there were 140 acres in the farm; sold sixteen and a half acres to the Agricultural Society; has a hop-yard on the place. He was born in Stockbridge, Madison Co., N.Y., Feb. 24, 1818. Married Harriet Patrick; they have three children living – Adner L., Hattie M and Adele.
