N.Y., Aug. 15, 1828; came to Wisconsin in 1850; located at Lake Mills 
and engaged in the manufacture of farming implements.  Married, at 
Lake Mills, Sept. 8, 1852, Elbina E. Merriam, of Oswego Co., N.Y.; 
have two boys.
