C. H. GARDNER, attorney, residence in the Sixth Ward, Dodge Co.; 
born in St. Petersburg, Russia; came to Wisconsin in June, 1846; was a 
resident of the town of Emmett, Dodge Co., until 1862; from 1868 to 
1870, he was a student at the State University at Madison; graduated 
from the Law Department of that institution in June, 1870.  Mr. Gardner 
is now serving as City Attorney.
