William W. HUTCHINSON, physician and town clerk, Enosburg Falls was born 15 
February 1850 at Enosburg [Franklin County, Vermont], son of Dr. William R. 
and Celinda C. (SMITH) HUTCHINSON. Educated in the public schools and 
Montpelier Seminary; received his M. D. from the University of Vermont in 
1874. Began the practice of medicine in Enosburg Center in 1874 , succeeding 
to his father's practice. In 1896 removed to Enosburg Falls, where has since 
practiced. Republican; represented Enosburg in the state Legislature 1882; 
town clerk since 1875; town treasurer since 1900. Congregationalist. In 
1874 [William W. HUTCHINSON] married [Miss?] Mary E. STONE of Johnson 
[Lamoille County, Vermont], who died in 1905; they had one son, William 
Selden. In 1906 [William W. HUTCHINSON] married [Miss?] Elizabeth R. CHAPMAN 
of Enosburg Falls.
