Allen P. CROFT, Enosburg Falls [Franklin County, Vermont], was born 01 July 
1854 at West Enosburg [Franklin County, Vermont], son of Joseph B. and 
Parmelia (BUCK) CROFT. Educated in the public schools of Enosburg. Has 
always engaged in farming. Republican; represented Enosburg in the Vermont 
Legislature 1910; selectman four years; first selectman 1890-1891; lister in 
1897. Methodist; steward of the church. Member of the Grange, formerly 
overseer; member Lincoln Lodge No. 78, Free & Accepted Masons, of Enosburg 
Falls. In 1875 he [Allen P. CROFT] married [Miss?] Elizabeth M. HENDRICK, of 
West Enosburg [Franklin County, Vermont]; they have four children: Eva May, 
Leonard Hendrick, Winifred Gertrude, and Mildred Lena.
