Jefferson; was born in Windsor, Conn., Aug. 5, 1851, and has been in 
present business since 1869; came to Jefferson in 1852.  Married Susan 
Beardsley, in Sparta, Wis., Dec. 25, 1871; she was born July 20, 1852; 
they have two children – Pearl, born Nov. 8, 1872, and Leonore, Aug. 
30, 1874.
