Concord; born in Clyman, Dodge Co., Wis., Dec. 31, 1849; came to Concord with his parents, Richard and Sarah Evans, May 8, 1850; here he has been educated and learned his trade. Married Miss Martha Hanson, of Concord, Nov. 14, 1874; Mr. Evans owns the old homestead of fifty acres which his father bought of the Government; it was at this time a forest, but the pluck and energy of father and son have cleared it and made of it a good home.
