ROBERTS, farmer, Section 18 [Westford Township, Dodge County, Wisconsin], P. O. Randolph [Westford Township], was born 25 December 1851 in Angleshire, North Wales, the son of Thomas and Catharine ROBERTS. [Section 18, where the farm was located, is directly south of the community of Randolph, with only Section 7 of Westford Township separating them. A map of Dodge County dated 1878 shows Randolph on the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway line.] In 1871 he [Edward T. ROBERTS] emigrated to America and settled in the town [Township] of Calamus, Dodge County, Wisconsin, and made that his home until 1873, when he went to Waukesha County, Wisconsin. In September 1878 he removed to a farm of 200 acres in Section 18, Westford [Westford Township, Dodge County, Wisconsin], which he had bought in June 1878. In February 1878 he [Edward T. ROBERTS] married Miss Annie, daughter of William and Mary ROBERTS, of Calamus [Township]. They [Edward T. and Annie (ROBERTS) ROBERTS] have one son, Robert.
