REIBLE, marble dealer, Mayville [Williamstown Township, Dodge County, Wisconsin], was born 14 September 1839 in Alsace, France. He was educated and spent his early life in France, and came to America in 1852, living for fifteen years in New York City, where he learned his business. He traveled in various parts of the United States, and on 01 November 1866 settled in Mayville [Dodge County, Wisconsin]. Mr. REIBLE does the only business of the kind in town, and is prepared to fill any order for anything in his line, and to guarantee satisfaction in price and style of work and stone. In June 1863 he [August P. REIBLE] married Miss Eliza ROYOT, of France. They [August P. and Eliza (ROYOT) REIBLE] have four children: Leon, Henrietta, Lillie, and a babe.
