Mrs. Elizabeth ANTONE, widow [deceased], Section 20 [Beaver Dam Township, Dodge County, Wisconsin], P. O. Beaver Dam, whose maiden name was Elizabeth PYE, was born in Wisconsin. She married in Oneida County, New York, Mr. Thomas ANTONE, a cabinet maker who was born in Chenango County, New York. They came to Wisconsin in 1853; located at Menasha, where he worked at his trade until his death, on 01 February 1854. They [Thomas and Elizabeth (PYE) ANTONE] had five sons, four of whom entered the army during the rebellion: Benjamin and Cornelius enlisted in Fond du Lac in the Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry; Abraham and Joseph enlisted in Company D, 26th New York Volunteer Infantry; and Benjamin was lost in the army. Charles H. died, and the others are still living. Mrs. ANTONE died in the fall of 1879. Submitted by: Cathy Kubly
